Veteran to Veteran Message
As a Veteran, you might experience difficult life events or challenges after leaving the military. VA has resources to address the unique stressors and experiences that Veterans may face — and help is just a click, call, text, or chat away.

Are you a Veteran in crisis or concerned about one?
You're not alone—the Veterans Crisis Line is here for you. You don't have to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care to call.

The Women Veterans Call Center is your resource for information about a variety of services and benefits that you have earned and deserve through your military service. The Women Veterans Call Center can be your first call to find out how VA can help you. No question is too big or too small, and every question is important.
Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness—and their family members, friends and supporters—can make the call to or chat online with the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans, where trained counselors are ready to talk confidentially 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Real Warriors Campaign encourages members of the military community to seek help for psychological health concerns by promoting a culture of support and emphasizing that mental health care IS health care. The Real Warriors Campaign links service members, veterans and their families with mental health knowledge and provides free, confidential resources including online articles, print materials, videos, and podcasts.
The Vet Call Center is an around the clock confidential call center where combat Veterans and their families can call to talk about their military experience or any other issue they are facing in their readjustment to civilian life. The staff is comprised of combat Veterans from several eras as well as families members of combat Veterans. This benefit is prepaid through the Veteran’s military service.
VA has a variety of mental health resources, information, treatment options and more — all accessible to Veterans, Veterans’ supporters and the general public. VA offers information specifically tailored to your needs and resources that address unique stressors and experiences.
